Luna Moth Watercolor Study
Storytime: I was at Dunkin Donuts getting my ✨iced vanilla oat milk latte✨ and saw a Luna Moth sitting right by the window. I’m not an insect person, but I liked the pattern and softness of it, as well as the contrast of the rusty red brick of the building, so I painted it. I call this my deconstructed series — just because I’m not painting actual things doesn’t mean I’m not capturing their essence.
Watercolor on cold pressed 5.5 by 8.5 inch Strathmore paper matted to fit an 8×10 inch frame. Will come framed. Please leave me a note if you don’t want the frame :)
