Mimosa Tree Watercolor Study
Mimosa trees are very common throughout North Carolina, but kid me had no idea. My grandparents had a huge one near their driveway that I’d climb in all the time, being raucous. I loved being around that tree — the way the pink blooms smell is so comforting. It’s still thriving today, but every time I see one I think of home.
